I always had a passion working with people with autism. In my graduate studies at Florida State University I took not one but two semesters of coursework dedicated to expanding my knowledge on how to help individuals with autism. I’ve done continuing education related to autism studies for over 10 years. It only seemed natural that I would also become a Certified Autism Specialist. This certification is the quality assurance many families are looking for when searching for a therapist to work with their child with autism. It is important to find a therapist who “gets it”.
